Matt asks a couple from the audience to volunteer their wedding band to demonstrate the magic of their love.
Do you wear a wedding band? May I borrow it? … I understand. This is a gorgeous band, and I understand when people give a magician a wedding band they get nervous, right? They think the magician might be a jerk about it. If I’m like a fancy magician like Rob Zabrecky, I’m going to grab it, and I’m going to… [poof] Gone, right?
No, you see, I palmed it. Yeah, okay, cool. You can see it’s perfectly safe in there. … Yeah, it’s perfectly safe in this jar of other rings.
We have Cupid’s arrow, and we have a castle in Prague; that’s what this bag will represent. You guys thought you were there just the two of you, but when you got down on one knee Cupid was hiding out in the streets of Prague, creating a bond that cannot be broken between the two of you.
Everyone say, “Prague rock is the only rock!”
[Audience chants “Prague rock is the only rock!”]
There we go, those are our magic words, plus the seven years of marriage. Hold it nice and tight. Remember that beautiful moment.
[Matt reveals their wedding band on the string]
Sealed on a bond that cannot be broken is one ring and one ring only, and it is your wedding band! Cheers to this amazing couple of seven years and more!
