Matt the Improv Coach

Matt Donnelly has decades of experience performing and teaching improv comedy. Improv comedians are quick on their feet, excellent in front of crowds, and always moving the show forward. These skills also make great corporate trainers and public speakers.

Using improv games and exercises plus putting teams together to make themed presentations, Matt coaches employees in these skills, sending speakers and trainers home more confident. He is hired annually for a three-day train-the-trainer event for the United Brotherhood of Carpenters & Joiners of America (UBC) in Las Vegas. This year one team came up with a particular bit that become a running gag for all the other teams, and nothing boosts teamwork like uproarious laughter! Participants consistently tell Matt that they took concrete skills away from the event (and enjoyed it immensely).
